Indo China Dispute: A Short Briefing

 


India is not ready to keep itself from involving in quarrels with neighbors at any cost. When Indian and Chinese army confronted each other at Doklam region in 2020, then China first started the negotiation with India even after beating their soldiers. But India is still relying on military activities regardig this matter. India is so near to make a deal with US to buy 30 MQ9B Predator Drones from them which will cost around 3 Billion Dollars. This is the same drone through which US recently attacked Ayman-al-Zawahiri in Kabul. They can fly for straight 35 hours while carrying 450 kg explosive material and 4 heal fire missiles. Indian defense analysts are openly saying this that the reason behind buying these drones is to use them against China. Through this India wants to keep an eye on Chinese military movement on Eastern Ladakh and they also want to monitor Chinese ships in Indian Ocean.



Indian Ocean has already gotten importance after US developed its interest in there. And now US is giving the role of  being their eye here in this region to India which they always wanted. India is also taking slow but open steps towards military aggression near China. They have imposed a squadron of French bought Rafale jets in Hasimara Airbase West Bengal. This airbase is nearest to the junction of China, Bhutan and Sakkam. This step of India has made it obvious that they want to play more on its unrest with China, then US and Indian forces did the joint military training by the name of Thunder Attack at Himachal Pradesh in August. These activities are not only limited to here but both US and India are gonna organize another military training event in October at just 62 miles away from Chinese border on the height of 10,000 ft at Uttarakhand by the name Yudh Abhyas. Chinese defense ministry has replied harshly on this matter. They termed these military training events as a violation of 1993 and 1996 pact signed between India and China. It has clearly written on these pacts that soldiers of both the countries will not practice any military activity near the borderline, but the irony US soldiers are also going to involve in military activities near the brder along with Indian soldiers. China completely sees this as a third party involvement, and India is not ready to give up this matter. Still it is expected that India is also thinking of installing the second stock of installing S400 ground to air missile system which they got from Russia on the Chinese border. After all this aggressive approach Indian Foreign Minister SShankar is defending these steps by saying that Indo China relation is going through worst time at the moment but still China has adopted the policy of patience till now. For example, China was building a road at Doklam region but when Indian objection was raised too much than they stopped the construction and limited their military installments till there, constructed a bridge on Pangong Tso Lake, but avoided constructing ahead. To make the situation better China agreed with India to the point that both the parties will fall back from Checkpost no 17 of Gogra Hot Springs. Core Commanders of both the side have met for 16 times already. But still not only India is giving aggressive statements but there practical approach is also according to these aggressive mindset. Even after the statement of Indian foreign minister, Chinese foreign official has given a sensible statement in which he said that mutual interests of both the countries are greater than their disputes and both parties have this ability help each other in getting success rather than trying to let down each other. The diplomatic language used in this statement is clearly showing that even after Indian deployment of Rafale jets near the border, they finalizing drone deal with US, S400 missile system installation and military practices near the border China still want to settle their dispute. But is going in the opposite direction they're fantasized by being the major pawn of US in their ideology of "Shared Vision For A Free And Open Indo Pacific Region". US must have to think that Indian military is not just limited to China their main target is always Pakistan. That's why can't close their eyes on this matter.

America Releases Seized Afghani Assets

  America has established a new fund with the collaboration of Switzerland and Afghan economists which will be used for economic stability in Afghanistan. Those billion dollars will be transferred in this fund which is owned by Afghanistan but was freezed by US when Taliban came into power last year. According to the American officials, 3.5 Billion Dollars worth of assets are set to be transferred in this Swiss fund.
